This sail is made of a durable Dacron (more durable than the class-approved radial sail). It’s cut to the same class dimensions and uses the same panel sizes, offering the same feel as the approved version. Sailors typically get one competitive season out of a sail. Save your expensive class-approved sail for ILCA-sanctioned regattas and use this practice sail for your training, helping to double or even triple the lifespan of your official class sail!
